Tour of Duty

This summer, Milan only had two players at the Euros, with only two other players on national team duty as well. While that number was greatly impacted by injuries, as well as our growing number of youth players, it seemed quite harsh. But for this International Break, we actually have 13 players on national team duty. Which means not only are the youth playing this time around, but we have a lot fewer injuries. So check out the list below and enjoy some football as our Milan players make us proud on their tour of duty.

Sunday's hero Locatelli when he played for Italy's U17

Italy are playing Spain in Turin today at 20:45 CEST, then are away to Macedonia on Sunday, October 9th, at 20:45 CEST for their World Cup Qualifiers

Loki coming out of the Juve dressing room with that face can only mean one thing... that he's starting for Italy today

Not only do we have more players representing their national teams, but Milan have the most Italian players called up to the senior national team this break, as well. Which, by Juve fan logic, means that Milan will win the Scudetto. But we aren’t Juve fans, so let’s not get carried away. And don’t be too worried about the friendly fire between Bacca and Gomez, as the latter did not feature for Paraguay during the last break. Let’s just enjoy watching our players in different teams and formations for their tour of duty.
