So tonight we are playing a newly promoted Serie C side that
used to be a different club, but went bankrupt, then came back with a slightly
different name and are now on their way back again. But who cares about the
friendly?! Milan have an app! And as if that weren’t enough, they are
supposedly showing the friendly on the app tonight.
So Cesena FC used to be AC Cesena, but are now Cesena FC.
But still i Cavallucci Marini (the Seahorses). For a Serie C team to host a
team like Milan, it’s a pretty big deal, even if it’s just a friendly. Still
not as big of a deal as Milan’s new app, though.
For tonight’s match, Francesco Modesto will likely call up
all of his available players: Agliardi, Marson; Stefanelli; Brignani, Brunetti,
Ciofi, Maddaloni, Ricci, Sabato, Valeri; Cappelini, De Feudis, Franchini,
Franco, Roaia, Valencia; Bernardi, Borello, Butic, Cortesi, Pantaleoni,
Russini, Sarao, and Zerbin.
There's a friendly face, back from his vacation |
Giampaolo has called up Antonio Donnarumma, Gigio
Donnarumma, Concin; Calabria, Conti, Duarte, Gabbia, Musacchio, Romagnoli,
Rodriguez, Strinic; Briglia, Brescianini, Calhanoglu, Kessie, Maldini, Mionic,
Paqueta; Borini, Castillejo, Piatek, Andre Silva, and Suso. Leao has a slight
injury, Bennacer has only just joined the team so won’t feature, while Reina,
Krunic, Bonaventura and Laxalt were left out as well. Theo Hernandez and Caldara
are still injured.
That’s literally all you need to know about the teams for
the match, because you should be downloading the new app right now and checking
it out instead of reading this. Hoping for no injuries, a win would be ideal,
and the rest you can watch on your device using your new Milan app. Go.
