This blog is a magical place. New posts appear every 48
hours or less, with a preview, review, and gamepost for every game, amongst
other things. But life is not always so magical, sometimes even superbloggers
need a break. And so today’s post is a do-it-yourself preview. Wait, what?
One of these is a Milan youth product, the other is Balotelli. Wait, what? |
Here’s what you need to know:
• Cagliari sit in 14th place. Their record of late is
D-D-D-L-L
• Their latest loss came at the hands of Atalanta last week
• Colontuano lined up: Avramov; Astori, Pisano, Rossettini,
Murru; Conti, Cossu, Ekdal, Dessena; Sau, Ibarbo in that match.
• Ibarbo will be suspended, but Pinilla returns from
suspension, having his ban reduced.
• Nene is unlikely, as he has been injured since December
• Milan still have only one away win in Serie A
• The following players are still on the injured list:
Pazzini*
Saponara*
Petagna
Silvestre
Zapata
El Shaarawy
Bonera
• Abate and any number of other players have the flu and are
unlikely.
• However, the following players returned to training
yesterday from injury or flu. Whether or not they are available remains to be
seen as of this do-it-yourself writing:
Bonera
Muntari
Montolivo
Saponara*
Pazzini*
• I cannot imagine new miracle signing Essien would be
available tomorrow, as he still has yet to take medicals today, but this is
Milan, anything is possible.
• Seedorf is likely to line up his 4-2-3-1 with any players
who are not on the training table or in bed with the flu. (insert your own
lineups here)
There you go. Add your own optimism, pessimism, flavor,
color stories, whatever you like. Do-it-yourself. I’m phoning this one in,
especially since the game is at 6am for me tomorrow… Wait, what?
