After ten years of Galliani's free transfers, Yonghong Li's empty promises, and Gazidis interfering in the sporting sector, Milan are on the verge of joy or heartbreak. Most people say this is the most exciting season of Serie A in years, but Milan fans have no fingernails left, are popping anti-anxiety meds like candy, and drinking more alcohol than ever before. We haven't been in the Champions League since the 2013-14 season, which has felt like missing a limb... or our DNA. Even worse, the renewal of Gigio Donnarumma and other key players may depend on where Milan finish on the table. Everything comes down to Sunday night. Will Milan get Champions League or Europa League?

Milan need a win against Atalanta, Pioli's bogey team, to guarantee Champions League for next year. Or for Napoli and/or Juventus to lose their respective matches against Verona and Bologna. All of the above would be amazing. Yet none of those three things are likely to happen, although it may be helpful that Atalanta and Juventus played the Coppa Italia final yesterday and will be tired. To be certain, Milan need to win. It would be ideal if, having led the table for the first half of the season, Milan sealed their own fate.
Until the final whistle blows on Sunday, we won't know. But for today, you can take the poll:
The waiting is excruciating, but I recommend that you stay sober enough to figure out how this season ends on Sunday. After that, all bets are off.
